First Volunteer Training Programme, Pune

The first Volunteer Training programme in Pune was conducted on 8th December 2009 by Ms. Seema Chandiramani, Chief General Manager, Chapters. 8 enthusiastic senior citizens participated in the day long training programme. They were taken through every aspect of Dignity Foundation. The workshop looked at identifying interest areas of the volunteers and working on soft skills like listening skills, handling helpline calls, conflict resolution, team work and communication. The volunteers took part very enthusiastically in all the activities held during the session and thoroughly enjoyed the professionally conducted session. We are looking forward to conducting such volunteer training workshops periodically.
