Dignity Donor Privilege Programme Launch: Pune on 20 January, 2010
On January 20 2010, Dignity Foundation opened its doors to the 50+ in Pune. The Dignity Donor Privilege Programme was launched through an exciting event at Nehru Memorial Hall. More than 600 senior citizens attended this event. Founder President Dr. Sheilu Sreenivasan set the advocacy agenda behind the Dignity Donor Privilege Programme. General Manager of Pune Chapter, Lakshmi Ramamurthy introduced the benefits, opportunities and privileges of the Dignity Donor Privilege Programme. The audience was treated to a special video message from the President of AARP, USA and the Presidents of Network organizations.

The eminent social worker and gandhian Shobana Ranade was the chief guest of this event and she made a thought provoking and inspiring speech on Ageing. Actress and Dignity Foundation's brand ambassador Tanuja Mukherjee shared her thoughts on Ageing through a spirited and passionate speech.

Launch of Dignity Dialogue in Hindi
The Hindi edition of Dignity Dialogue was launched in the hands of Usha Uthup.
The Sami sisters, featuring Usha Uthup and her sisters Indira Sreenivasan and Maya Sami took the audience to a state of bliss with their musical performance. The 'swinging singing seniors in saris' were a treat to watch and hear. They transcended boundaries with their music, singing effortlessly in English, Hindi and Marathi. Everyone was consumed by the nostalgic musical journey spanning different decades, genres, languages and styles. The Sami sisters made us experience and enjoy what Productive Ageing is all about.
