Volunteers form the core strength
of Dignity Foundation. A large number of committed volunteers help
several older persons by offering their time and support.
When you enroll as a volunteer, we will profile and
train you for the specific voluntary activity that you wish to undertake.
You can volunteer with us in any of these areas:
Dignity
Helpline : Our Helpline
receives several phone calls everyday that requires patient listening
and a quick response. Use your communication skills and efficiency
to help those who reach out to us.
Dignity Companionship
: Think you can spare
a few hours to spend with a lonely older person? We will connect
you with an elderly in your locality with whom you can spend
some time.
Senior Citizens ID
Card Centre : Our ID
Card centres spread across the city require your help to answer
queries, accept completed forms, check the forms and dispatch
them to the Head Office
Dignity Civic Service
: Do you feel that
you can work in a team and make a difference in your locality?
Be a proactive citizen and help our Dignitarians maintain a clean
city.
Dignity
Dementia Day Care Centre : Our
day care centre members love to dance and sing. They also need
help with eating and walking. Come and spend time with them!
Dignity Home Computer
Training : Use your
skills in computer to help an elderly in your area to learn how
to operate a computer, Internet, chat or email.
Dignity Grapevine
: Do you have a large
social or professional group? Help us reach out to the elderly
by spreading the word "Dignity"!!
